Overview

JST is currently seeking a Technical Writer to join our team.

This is a full-time ON-SITE position at Fort Belvoir, VA. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Technical Writer Responsibilities

• Assists in collecting and organizing information required for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides,
  proposals, and reports.
• Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.
• Assists in performing financial and administrative functions.

Technical Writer Qualifications

• A minimum of three experience, of which at least one year must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: demonstrated experience in editing documents, including technical documents.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction.

Required Clearances and Screenings

• MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance
